Who we are

MeridianLogix ("we", "us") provides freight-quoting software to freight forwarding businesses. This policy covers the MeridianLogix application (app.meridianlogix.com), our mobile applications, and this website. Questions or requests: info@meridianlogix.com.

What we collect

• Account details — your name and work email address, used to sign you in and identify your actions inside your company's workspace.
• Quote and shipment data — the enquiry emails, rate sheets, client details and quotes your company puts into the system. This is your company's business data; we process it only to provide the service.
• Usage records — an activity log of actions taken in the workspace (who generated, approved or exported a quote, and when), and standard technical logs kept for reliability and security.
• Website enquiries — if you submit the early-access form, the contact details you provide there.

We do not collect data for advertising. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Where it lives

All application data is stored on Microsoft Azure in the Australia East region. Each customer company's workspace is isolated: one company's data — including client rate contracts — is never visible to another, and that isolation is enforced by the software and verified by automated tests on every release.

Who processes it for us

• Microsoft Azure — hosting, storage and databases (Australia East).
• Clerk — sign-in and account security.
• Twilio SendGrid — receiving the enquiry emails your clients send to your quoting addresses.
• Azure OpenAI Service — reads enquiry text to extract shipment details. Under Microsoft's terms, this data is not used to train AI models. Pricing is never produced by AI — quotes are calculated from your own tariffs.

Each provider processes data only on our instructions and under their own security commitments.

Cookies

The application uses essential cookies and browser storage strictly for keeping you signed in and remembering interface preferences. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, on the app or on this website.

How long we keep it

Account and workspace data is kept while your company's subscription is active. When a workspace is closed, its data is deleted from live systems within 30 days, with encrypted backups expiring on their own schedule thereafter.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing info@meridianlogix.com — we respond within 30 days. Account deletion from within the app is being added; until then, emailed requests are honoured the same way. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If you believe we've mishandled your information, contact us first; you may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll note it here with a new date and inform active customers by email.
